President, Sisterhood Showcase
When talking empowerment and innovation, one has to look at Christina Stevison, one of Memphis’ rising and groundbreaking entrepreneurs. President of The Stevison Group and Sisterhood Showcase, the Bluff City native is becoming a revolutionary, using her influence and splendor to empower, educate, and engage multicultural women and audiences across the region.
With a wealth of national and international experience, Stevison stapled her career working in event management and marketing with exclusive top-level employers such as Hilton Worldwide and The Brown-Forman Corporation, America’s largest wine and spirits company. Her zeal for travel led her to study and work experiences in London, England; Cancun, Mexico; and Seoul, South Korea. The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University graduate has spearheaded events, conferences, galas and the like, ranging from 100 to 10,000 attendees.
In 2013, Stevison was appointed President of the Sisterhood Showcase. Her infectious enthusiasm, strong strategic ideas and undeniable passion for the Sisterhood brand brought new life and energy to its marquee event The Sisterhood Showcase Women’s Expo.
Stevison is not shy of using what she has to achieve for the greater good, and being explicitly implicit on her target audience: women. She is the former publisher of Memphis based Grace Magazine, a widely distributed collection of interviews, stories, and advice that welcomed younger and more seasoned generations of women to express and find their collective and individual voices in the modern world.
For Stevison, the greatest reward from her roles comes in the ability to be a champion for women of all ages. She embodies what it means to lead by example and encourages all women to excel in all endeavors by never letting perfect be the enemy of good.
